Technology Alliance Advances Interoperability
HealthHelp, a leader in specialty benefit management, has partnered with a leader in prior authorization automation and integration, Humata Health, solving prior authorization for both providers and payers.
The partnership strengthens integration between EMR technology and prior authorization technology. It advances PA solutions using modern integration protocols and advanced technologies setting new standards in healthcare interoperability and automation.
Built on the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) protocol, the partnership combines HealthHelp’s end to end specialty programs and technology expertise with Humata Health’s prior authorization platform for providers and payers. The focus of the combined solution is speeding up PA processing while reducing manual entry errors. It also gives users an enhanced experience, managing EMR PA authorizations within the EMR environment, relieving provider administrative burdens, and ensuring accurate and timely approvals.
“We are thrilled to partner with HealthHelp to enable direct-submit prior authorizations directly from our platform. This integration, combined with our AI-powered clinical packet generation, enables substantial efficiency for providers and payers – all for the benefit of patients,” stated Dr. Jeremy Friese, CEO of Humata Health.
“We set out to find a partner that could help us exponentially improve the PA process within our specialty programs,” stated George G Gjermano, SVP of HealthHelp. “We know supporting hospitals and doctors with the right tools and techniques will drive our health plan clients’ success and improve their member healthcare journeys.”
Each of the companies brings a level of expertise that positively impacts the PA process. Together the organizations are focused on continued automation that preserves the quality of patient care and supports additional provider efficiencies.
